The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and Financial Controller of the Group Division to compile monthly management accounts for two sites and report on the performance of specific business units. The postholder will also be involved with all aspects of accounting at local site level including reporting on key indicators.Duties & Responsibilities:Contract performance reporting against estimates.Monthly management accounts.Ensure that all relevant contract costs are captured.Provide contract feedback and support to commercial colleagues.Aid managerial planning and commercial decision-making by providing appropriate financial information.Audit and oversee manufactured product and consumable stores stock takes.Monthly Contract Work In Progress calculations.Ensuring that key financial and in-house systems are accurate and adequately maintained at site level including providing cover for accounts colleagues.Delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and various ad hoc projects.Ensure spending is kept in line with the budget.Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.Applicants will ideally be Qualified but applicants qualified by experience will also be considered.MiddlewichFh800540-50KManagement Accountant
