Role

This role is new to the business as the Commercial Director looks to revolutionise the finance department, bringing efficiency, an automation programme and industry leading insights to the business. It’s with this vision finance will support the business strategy as trusted and valued experts. You will be an experienced management accountant being able to diligently prepare full management accountants and articulate variables into operational insight.

This will be key to your responsibilities with preparation and production of monthly management accounts, including full financial statement analysis and support in producing the monthly Financial Performance deck.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of building an industry leading finance function, whilst developing your commercial awareness and impact. As a bi product of supporting strategic growth, the finance function will grow in parallel lending to further career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation and delivery of management accounts including P&L & Balance Sheet
• Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Assist with production of 3 & 5 year budget cycles
• Support continuous improvement of processes and controls
• Help maintain financial KPI’s
• Develop financial discipline across the business
• Support finance evolution project
• Assist with audit file preparation
• Lean in with cash flow forecasting
• No. 2 to the Commercial Director for finance department

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Leicester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor’s (preferred)
