My client is a rapidly growing manufacturing brand based in Blackburn with a strong presence throughout the UK & globally.

Job Description

The Management Accountant role will be mainly office based with the option to do occasional remote working. Reporting into the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:

  • Budgeting and half year reforecast. This includes preparation and departmental review.
  • Cost Centre management.
  • P&L reporting.
  • Monthly reporting to the group companies of P&L and balance sheet.
  • Other reporting including forecasts, budgets.
  • Monthly reconciliation inventory, work in progress and GRNI balances
  • Assistance with the annual financial audit.
  • Developing and measuring relevant KPI’s. Work with department heads to advise and monitor operational KPI’s.
  • Produce management reports on a monthly basis.
  • Produce reports for the quarterly management reviews and quarterly board meetings.
  • Report on sales v forecast.

The Successful Applicant

In order to apply for the role you should:

  • Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or QBE.
  • Have Previous Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • High level of expertise in the use of MS Office software, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data based approach to investigating and solving problems.
