We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Management Accountant to support our Finance Team, based at our office in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

We operate a hybrid working model: two or more days from the office, the remainder of the week from home.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller the Management Accountant is responsible for:

  • Reconciliation of monthly sales
  • Preparing the P&Ls for the monthly management accounts
  • Cost analysis, including OH analysis and business partner with HoDs to produce accurate departmental P&Ls
  • Liaising with all departments to ensure accurate accruals/prepayments
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Completing allocated monthly trended schedules
  • Providing support and assistance with year-end statutory accounts and audit, including preparation of audit schedules and analysis
  • Preparation and submission of Office for National Statistics survey for turnover
  • Supporting the Group Financial Controller on special and adhoc projects, including system implementations such as Netsuite
  • Look to continuously improve and automate month end processes
  • Support the production of ESG information on a quarterly basis

ABOUT YOU

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Attention to detail and willing to be hands-on
  • Ability to work in a small team and coach junior members of the team
  • Able to manage multiple work streams and deliver to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills especially with non-finance teams
  • Confident challenging the existing ways of doing things
  • Strong management accounting experience
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced growth environment and able to adapt.
  • A creative, problem-solving spirit
