Management Accountant

Location: Little Bridge House, Barnstaple/WFH
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: 35,773 - 40,913 per annum

About the role:

Joining our small friendly and professional team you will be responsible for preparing the management accounts. This will include commentaries and financial statement analysis, providing support to budget holders on management accounting principles and preparing the annual budgets. The position is also required to support and assist other members of the finance team in a range of financial compliance, reporting and analysis work.

About you:

With an accounting qualification such as CIMA or CIPFA and experience of providing accountancy services working at a relatively high level, you will also be familiar with generating management accounts via computerised systems and delivering financial analysis and forecasting. Excellent Excel skills are essential, and experience of Open Accounts would be a significant advantage. Confidence and ability to use initiative, a positive attitude and supportive team working is essential.
