My client is an impressive secondary school in Wandsworth who is looking for a Male Behavior Mentor to support some of their most hard to reach students who are at risk of permanent exclusion. You will work with both male and female students however on the odd occasion, you will need to accompany some of the male students to the toilets are some are known to be mischievous and graffiti in there! This role is a mixture of pastoral and academic, mentoring these students to encourage better behaviour and ultimately keep them in school and help them to overcome their individual barriers to learning.

We want to hear from those who have a genuine interest in education and ultimately want to forge a career in something like teaching, youth work, counselling, psychology etc etc. You need to be full of confidence, resilience and be able to relate to their students by building, trusting, long lasting relationships. This Male Behavior Mentor role is being offered on a long term basis for the entire academic year and may even progress in to a permanent opportunity for those that impress enough!
