Multi Trades Recruitment are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician in Andover to work with a Facilities management company.

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7.30am - 15.30pm
  • Weekly pay
  • £19 per hour

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line maintenance in accordance with planned maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment is consistently maintained and operational during emergency deployments. You will be tasked with fault finding, diagnosis, and participating in the configuration of deployment tranches. Additionally, post holders will assess and isolate equipment post-deployment, conducting investigation work on any identified damage following Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications Or Required Experience

  • Yellow Activities: Credible previous experience with plant and diesel engines, with mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. On-the-job training combined with manufacturer training will be provided upon commencement.
  • Red Activities: Credible previous experience with plant, engines, or machinery, along with a minimum NVQ2 or City and Guilds in a related mechanical qualification. A time-served apprenticeship and higher qualification are desirable. On-the-job training combined with manufacturer training will be provided upon commencement.

Desirable

  • 18th Edition qualification is advantageous.
  • Ability to drive a 16-tonne FLT and possess a C PLUS E license (LGV) is desirable.
  • Experience with JCB and/or Heavy Plant/Machinery.
  • General aptitude for DIY and Maintenance.
