We are a highly responsive business that understands some jobs need a very quick turn-around. We do everything we can to help our customers with those urgent requirements.
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Lead Engineer in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance for our two production sites in Portsmouth.
The main duties of this role will include:
- To maintain and clean a variety of glass manufacturing equipment.
- To support an existing planned maintenance system and perform tasks to a pre-determined schedule.
- To help identify the root cause of any equipment failure and implement subsequent repair.
- To inspect, overhaul and repair plant & machinery.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience in plant operations – with a practical hands-on approach.
- Logical approach to problem solving.
- Numeracy and literacy skills, with a good attention to detail.
- Excellent attitude to work - reliable, positive, team player with a willingness to learn.
- A desire to grow with our business.
Hours: 21:45pm to 06:00am Sunday to Thursday.
Pay negotiable depending on experience.
