Our client based in Flint, North Wales is currently looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the senior technician you will work as part of a team of shift technicians reacting to breakdowns in the manufacturing facility. Key Duties:-To respond efficiently and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
  • To accurately record all breakdown information and equipment condition utilising established and future systems.
  • To be familiar with all aspects of machinery operation, be proactive in identifying running problems and their correction/modification.
  • To provide a reasonable amount of overtime cover in respect of holidays, sickness, maintenance shut-downs, projects etc.
  • To monitor machinery in production with a view to carrying out adjustments as necessary
  • To complete planned maintenance as per schedules set by engineering management. What we are looking for in the candidate:
  • Time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, electrical bias favoured.
  • HND / BEng advantageous but not essential.
  • 17th / 18th Edition qualification
  • Previous experience of working in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Health and safety conscious individual
