Vita Student seeks experienced, but above all passionate, people to uphold aspirations. In a customer-facing environment you will be responsible for keeping and maintaining the student residence (communal space and studios) to the highest standards.

This is a very hands-on role where we are seeking an individual with practical experience. As a company we like to ensure that we complete as much maintenance work as possible internally, providing a friendly, quick and efficient service to our residents.

Role responsibilities

· DIY (Plumbing, Painting, Decorating, Joinery) for all communal spaces and studios as required

· Ongoing and prompt management of building facilities, either by carrying out the works yourself or by the procurement of external contractors

· Maintaining the residence to brand standards

· Manage and record the routine testing, servicing, maintenance and risk assessment of all aspects of the property

· Managing all supplies and works within budget

· Provide excellent customer service as a member of the residence management team.

Role requirements

The ideal candidate will:

· Have knowledge and experience of DIY.

· Be service orientated, independent and confident, and have experience in a facilities maintenance role.

· Have excellent communication skills and with a helpful, can-do attitude

· Be proactive

Role is for 20 hours per week for 2 months.
