Are you looking for a rewarding role helping maintain the estates of a leading Wirral autism charity?

Autism Together is one of the country’s leading providers of services and support to autistic people and their families. We have an amazing opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor within the Estates and Facilities Team. This position will be integral to oversee planned and reactive maintenance services, whilst providing management direction to the maintenance team to carry out repair and maintenance requests across all of our services. This is an exciting time to be joining the charity as we have been gifted a number of listed buildings that this postholder will be fundamental to drive innovation and create an exceptional environment for the people we support.

What you will be doing…
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate who has a good knowledge and understanding of building maintenance who has the drive and passion to support the charity to enhance our expanding estates and facilities. In addition, the role will involve developing and oversee planned works schedules, preparing specifications and schedules, organising tendering and liaising with external contractors as required.

Hours of work
The role will require the postholder to work 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday), to support the Estates and Facilitates Team in the management of maintenance tasks. We do offer the opportunity for flexible working practices and exceptional development opportunities for the right candidate.

Our ideal candidate will be motivated to support the Estates and Facilities Team and be passionate to supporting our friendly team and have the ability to establish good working relationships with key stakeholders. They should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus drive and experience of supporting our people.
