Background and Experience

Ideally you will come with experience of management of camp site facilities, including refurbish and replace as well as working with sub-contractors on planned activities that require specialist knowledge.

The role does not require any 3Phase electrical work, but you will need to have general DIY skills including carpentry, minor plumbing roles and painting. It is our aim to improve the 10 sites we are taking over, and we have an ambitious investment plan in place to achieve this.

Specific Accountabilities

· Take ownership in responding to emergency calls for maintenance from all departments

· Be confident in ensuring all priority maintenance jobs are completed on time within budget.

· To show teamwork and flexibility in being able to respond to changes in job priorities at short notice.

· To manage with the Operations Manager any sub-contractors working on site ensuring the safety of the work being undertaken and identify potential hazards to staff and customers.

· To be confident in ensuring that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and report any faults to the Operations Manager

· To be flexible in terms of work hours during the busy summer season

Competencies

· General DIY skills including painting, carpentry and plumbing

· PAT testing

· Working at height

· General health and safety awareness in relation to Risk Assessments and Site knowledge
