Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team providing support across our award winning Quarry Kitchen. You’ll be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance and improvement activities to ensure our kitchens work efficiently.

What you’d be doing

Ensure service levels are maintained across the Kitchen through preventive and reactive maintenance
To carry out planned maintenance to best in class standards in line with the maintenance plan, ensuring all work is carried out to relevant legislation and guidelines.
Carry out root cause analysis to determine and correct underlying performance issues
Support the Production teams in refining processes to improve efficiencies
Reduce machinery down time and defect opportunities
Support operational training to develop internal skill sets
Carry out first response attendance for Site Services and Facilities
Actively seek, support and deliver improvement projects

What you’ll bring to the table

We’re looking for someone who has previous experience of working in an FMCG chilled, customer focused environment. You’ll need a Level 3 qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering and ideally be 17th edition qualified.

Experience in a food production environment would be advantageous but isn’t essential.

Requisite experience and skills for this role are:
