Maintenance Engineer

Salary –£44,283 (Overtime 1.5- OTE 50K)

Shifts –4 on 4 off days and nights (12 hours)

Location –Barking

Benefits- 23 Shifts Holiday, 4 x Life Insurance, 6% pension

They need someone to join their team and continue the growth within the business helping them to tackle reducing waste, avoiding pollution, and preventing the unnecessary use of natural resources. The Role

Your day to day responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Working on automated shredders, optical sorting machines, Magnets, paper from plastic, Screening equipment. Vacuums, bailers, compressors.
  • Lots of projects to get your teeth stuck in to with New Project and CI work
  • Fault finding electrically working with Three phase, Sensors, contractor, relays
  • Mechanically work on bearing, belts, shafts and gearboxes
  • Working as a team and on your own

The Ideal Candidate for Maintenance Engineer

  • Electrical or Mechanical Qualification
  • Engineering experience would be beneficial
  • Able to work autonomously and independently
  • Worked in an industrial environment

  • OTE 50K Plus
  • Overtime pay at 1.5
