Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sprinkler Maintenance Engineer located in Sunderland. The Sprinkler Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, maintenance & repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical maintenance. The Engineer will ensure that all sprinkler systems are fully operational to protect properties and save lives in the event of a fire. The Engineer will also work with clients to identify and resolve any issues with their sprinkler systems. We can be flexable regarding hours worked but it does involve working weekends Saturdays and Sundays.

You will be expected to work in a small team and be flexable with possible work helping other trades as required.

Could possibly suite a part time or even semi retirement applicant.

Qualifications

  • Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, and Maintenance & Repair skills
  • Experience in Preventive Maintenance
  • Experience in Electrical Maintenance
  • Knowledge of fire safety systems and codes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A relevant degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as NICET or CFPS are a plus
  • full driving licence is essential
