Eurilait is the English subsidiary of two large French dairies, Laita and Eurial. We import cheese from our parent companies in France and from other third-party suppliers all over Europe. We then cut and pack the cheese in our Evercreech factory before distributing to our customers across the UK. From local farm shops to the major supermarkets, we tailor our offering to meet each unique set of requirements.We are looking to recruit a multi-skilled engineer to join our friendly team.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your primary role will be to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the factory by proactively maintaining the production equipment and facilities. You’ll provide electrical and mechanical support, carry out equipment testing and work with your team to ensure maximum machine availability by carrying out both proactive maintenance and reacting quickly and efficiently to breakdowns to keep downtime to a minimum.You’ll be an experienced self-starter who works well in a close-knit team. No two days are the same in our engineering team so you’ll have an interesting and varied workload. To be successful, you’ll need to have great problem-solving skills, be confident with IT systems and have a keen eye for detail.A recognised qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering is essential as is the ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of engineering requirements.
