Introduction

Lineage Logistics the world’s largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics.

We store, prepare, and move food-based products for a variety of customers from major retailers to schools, hospitals, and restaurants.

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.

Shifts Available
  • 3 on 3 off 06:00-18:00
  • 4 on 4 off 18:00-06:00

Salary
  • £39,000- £41,000 per annum (depending on shift pattern)

The role

In this role you will:
  • Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability
  • Support the maintenance and wider team in working together to solve problems to keep our facility moving
  • You will do this in a cold environment – approximately minus 25 Celsius – just like working in the freezer; but we provide full PPE including coats, hats and boots
  • At times work at heights of up to 38 metres

Who we’re looking for:
  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering with Mechanical Engineering experience (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Experience with automation is an advantage but not required
  • Good interpersonal skills and enjoy being in a team
  • Willingness to learn and improve your skills
