Goole - up to £40k - Mon to Fri (2pm finish on Fridays) - free onsite parking, on a bus route - secure and well-established business

Our client in Goole are keen to recruit an electrically biased maintenance engineer to strengthen a small maintenance team

The Duties Of The Maintenance Engineer Include
  • Working alongside 3 other engineers as well as alone
  • Repairing plant equipment including filling, blending & packaging machines
  • Prioritising workload with the use of in-house systems
  • Working on Planned Preventative Maintenance projects
Requirements: As well as being electrically and mechanically experienced (electrical bias) the Maintenance Engineer will be apprentice trained (or equiv) with 17th Edition Regs and C&G Inspection & Testing. Experienced with 3 Phase + Single Phase Motors, panel wiring, conveyor systems & inverters, have a logical approach to problem solving and be able to diagnose plc faults and carry out corrective activities. Finally, you will have a positive approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement

The company: You will be joining a small, but busy production operation where you will find security in a supportive and friendly environment. This company manufacture, pack and re-pack chemical powders and liquids. You will be maintaining plant equipment including filling, blending & packaging machines

As well as a salary of up to £40k, the benefits of the Maintenance Engineer include:
  • No weekends or shift work: Mon - Thurs 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-2pm (with some call out responsibility)
  • 20 days annual leave plus stats, free onsite parking, on a bus route (Goole DN14)
