Maintenance Engineer Leicestershire contract role for hands on role in production/ factory - must come from a process or manufacturing background needed for a world class FMCG manufacturer that has an impeccable reputation and high standards however still hasn’t lost its friendly culture and strong teamwork ethic. The company invest heavily in their staff and sites with world leading technology/ machinery and training.

Maintenance Engineer Leicestershire will be 4 on 4 off DAYS only

6 months Maintenance Engineer contract minimum

£36-£38ph umbrella contract rate

Maintenance Engineer duties;

  • Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery across the whole site and process plant
  • Working on project related work to improve machinery and efficiency in a busy environment
  • Fault find on machinery and repair
  • Used to working with pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc.
  • Keep downtime to minimum

Requirements for Maintenance Engineer


  • A formal engineering (mech or elec) qualification to at least City & Guilds level 2, NVQ level 3 or equivalent with corresponding practical experience.
  • Good working knowledge of automated systems/ production machinery
  • From a manufacturing background
  • Mechanical or Electrical proven experience
