We are recruiting for a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work at a long established manufacturer based in Poole.The shift pattern12 hour continental shift pattern.Days 6am-6pm for 2 weeks then, Nights 6pm-6am for the next 2 and so on.Every other weekend off.SalaryStarting salary is £35,545 per annum including shift allowanceSalary increases as you progress through to Level 2 and 3 eventually reaching an annual salary of £39k and £43k plus.BenefitsCompany Pension, 21 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays, Overtime at x 1.5Overview
  • Carry Out Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Maintain Records of Machine Running Hours
  • Attend To Machine Breakdowns and Ensure Continuity of Production
  • Assist Electrician as Required
  • Assist On Tool Changes As Required
  • Liase With Shift Supervisor To Prioritise Work Load
  • Complete Sign Off Forms For Each Task
  • Work In A Safe And Tidy Manner
Mechanical Fitter Requirements
  • Completed Apprenticeship
  • A Formal Qualification City & Guilds
  • Welding Experience
  • Ability To Problem Solve
  • Should be a Team Player
