We have a fantastic opportunity available for a maintenance electrician working for one of the UK’s leading facilities management companies founded back in 1987 with over 72,000 employees looking after 2,500,000 assets for its customers. You will be operating on their general maintenance contract that includes retail and office sites around the Telford and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be expected to take charge of their sites and manage all aspects of their work. The working hours will be 08:00 until 17:00. You will get a Vauxhall van with all the top specs including cruise control, climate control and android or apple car play. You will also be getting a great salary up to £36,000 plus any overtime getting paid at 1.3x. You will get enrolled into a call out rota which is currently set at 1 in 10 with a call out payment of £115. As the Maintenance Electrician you will be responsible to ensure that all Pre Planned and Reactive Maintenance are completed across the sites. Whilst working you will be carrying out a range of electrical maintenance. This could be anything from a simple lamp change, emergency light test to a 6 month or annual test. The role will involve a range of electrical maintenance, electrical fault-finding, and electrical repair. Whilst working you might also be required from time to time to carry out some more general building maintenance, this could be replacing a ceiling tile, or putting a door handle back on for example. Desirable Qualifications and Experience (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) 17th Edition 18th Edition City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 Electrical qualifications Demonstrate experience in maintenance and repair of a wide and varied range of electrical systems and mechanical systems. Legionella Awareness - Desirable City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection - Desirable Undertake repair and fault finding on critical systems and equipment. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and completing all report sheets.
