We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset.

This is an exciting time to join the G4S Facilities Management Team at Hinkley Point C. We are three years into our ten year contract, working on the largest construction site in Europe.

The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.

Construction and operation of Hinkley Point C will create 25,000 employment opportunities, up to 1,000 apprenticeships and 64% of the project’s construction value is predicted to go to UK companies. There are currently over 4,000 workers on site.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700. The salary for this role is £34,311 per annum.

As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will work with the Head of Technical Services and Hard Services team to maintain records of compliance within the Technical Services department. Organising specialist subcontractor maintenance visits, uploading of plans, schemes, RAMS and reports. Internal and external stakeholder liaison to ensure planned works are completed competently and within timeframes.

Key Responsibilities of this role are:
Accurate record keeping of compliance records and data

Uploading of Hard service records and documentation to company and client share drives

Visitor booking for specialist subcontractors

Assisting the Head of Technical services to thoroughly vet and review compliance data and documentation

Attend meetings with Head of Technical Services and keep records of the meeting

Assist with contractors reports, uploading completion dates to CAFM

Assist with uploading RAMS to Client Share drive

Assist the Helpdesk Lead/Scheduler with additional asset and compliance data to CAFM

Ensure that reactive maintenance and repairs are quoted and works seen through to completion

To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at work act

To comply with all G4S & HPC policies and process as required

To assist with the mobilisation of new services in line with G4S Development review and performance management policies

To liaise regularly with the senior management team in daily activities, providing proactive solutions to business challenges.

Any other duties as reasonably requested

To induct new team members to ensure that they are made fully aware of all site (and internal G4S FM) rules, policies and

procedures before starting work within their team.

To identify training requirements within the wider GDA team, and to book training courses with the relevant provider.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Requirements are:
Excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of corporate systems

CAFM Experience

Working knowledge of statutory compliance

Ability to work to deadlines and balance priorities

A resilient team player with drive, enthusiasm, passion, strong planning and coordination
