Here at Swift Temps NW we are currently looking for Machine Operators for our client who is a market leading provider of components to the Automotive, Electronic and Food Production Industries. This role is based in Haydock.

This role is a key worker role so the site will be remaining open during lockdown.

You will be responsible for;

  • Machine Feeding,
  • QC Checking,
  • Small Assembly
  • Labelling of goods
  • and any other associated tasks as required

This role is in a fast moving and noisy manufacturing environment but can also involve repetitive tasks.

Full training will be given to candidates with the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Experience in the plastics industry would be an advantage but not essential.

The hours of work are Monday-Friday and are on a rotating basis working all 3 shifts of:-
06:00 – 14:00
14:00 – 22:00
22:00 – 06:00

Overtime is available but it is not compulsory.

Pay rate is £9.50 per hour.

You must be flexible in your approach and be reliable. Reliability is a must for this company along with the ability to communicate in English and have a good eye for detail.

The contract initially is on an ongoing basis, but if you work hard and prove your reliability then there could be the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

Own method of transport would also be ideal due to location.
