Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Skilled Labourer/Machine Operator for our client based in Leeds LS27. The role is on a temporary to permanent basis for the right person, with successful operators being offered a permanent role after 12 qualifying weeks.

Shift/salary:

  • Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:00
  • Friday 06:00-15:00
  • £14.00 per hour
  • 2 x 30 mins breaks per shift (1 paid, 1 unpaid)
  • 37.5 hours per week

The role:

  • Working in a manufacturing environment
  • Measuring materials
  • Operating hand and power tools
  • Operating press breaks machine, guillotines, automatic saws
  • Picking materials to manufacture
  • Checking quality of products made
  • Working in a timely, accurate manner

The candidate:

  • Has experience operating press break, guillotines, automatic saws
  • Can operate hand and power tools
  • Is reliable, looking for full time and permanent work
  • Has a good eye for detail
  • Is physically fit and able to carry out manual work
