Bond Personnel have an exciting opportunity in the Wigan area. Our client is looking for an experienced Machine Operator/Process Workerto oversee the smooth running of various medical and pharmaceutical products.

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Machine Operator will be working on various equipment such as a Tablet Press, responsible for all activities related to the compression of the product as per formula instructions.

Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operates tablet press machinery independently as well as within a team environment
• Documents tablet press process information as per SOP
• Loads and unloads tablet press machine
• Monitors tablet press operation periodically and reports any abnormal conditions to the manager.
• Start machinery and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to manager
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
• Report to engineering manager and/or other managers
• Responsible for the maintenance of the machineries.

Requirements for Machine Operator/Process Worker;

• At least 1 year Machine Operating experience.
• Ideally would have worked in food or pharmaceutical production.
• Full UK License and able to drive is a massive advantage due to the job location.

Working hours;

• Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm.
• No weekends.
• Occasional (overtime is available)
