Acorn is currently offering this Production / Machine Operative role on behalf of their client based in Collumpton.

This is an opportunity to join Devon’s leading manufacturer of metal roofing sheets. In this role, you will be working on the factory floor to ensure the quality and safe production of products to meet production targets and fulfil customer demand.

Our client is looking for a candidate with Machine Operating experience in some aspects of roofing, however this is not essential and candidates with other similar backgrounds will be considered. A FLT licence would also be ideal, however this is also not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.

Duties of Production/Machine Operator:

  • Working on a number of different metalworking machines essential to the production of units
  • Ensuring smooth running of machinery
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Meet production targets
  • Adhering to safety, hygiene, and quality systems
