Machine Operative - Post Knitting Operative

Shepshed LE12

We are recruiting for a permanent post-knitting operative to work for a leading medical wound care manufacturer based in Shepshed LE12. You will be working in a modern, clean and friendly warehouse and production facility that is accessible by public transport with on site parking for car drivers. For the position of post knitting operative, production and machine operating experience would be beneficial. This Post Knitting operative role is 39 hrs per week on a 3 shift rotating between days, nights and afternoons. Days - Mon to Thurs 06.00-14.00, Fri 06.00-13.00. Nights - Sun 23.00-06.00, Mon to Thurs 22.00-06.00. Afternoons - Mon to Thurs 14.00-22.00, Fri 13.00-20.00. 2 week rotating pattern also available rotating between earlies and late’s.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine minding at the back end of the production process
Sorting and packaging finished goods using machinery
Excellent time keeping and motivation to ensure continued production levels are met
Working to company targets to keep up with production levels
Accurately completing any relevant documentation and inputting data where necessary
General housekeeping and ensuring health and safety measures are adhered to at all times
Quality checking and ensuring work is completed to the highest possible standards.

PAY AND BENEFITS

£11.10 rising to £11.60 on successful completion of first 3 months
28 Days Holiday + Pension
Occasional overtime available
