DaventryTemporary to Permanent OpportunityUpto £13.50 per hour D.O.EMonday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12 noonWe are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to work for our established manufacturing business based in Daventry who serve an array of industries. This will be a temporary to permanent position.Our client are willing to offer training and support for the right candidate.Duties
  • Responsible for operating Colchester Lathes and Capstan machines
  • You will be required to work from engineering drawings
  • Ensure components are to correct specifications
  • Responsible for the inspection of parts using an array of measuring devices
Requirements
  • Previous experience in manual turning desired but not essential
  • Be able to correctly interpret engineering drawings
  • Use a wide variety of measuring equipment
  • Previous experience within an engineering environment
