We are based in Heckington (Sleaford) Bromborough (Formally Sun Valley Ltd) and Hull and we are part of the Zertus UK & Ireland Snacking & Chocolate Market Unit partnered with other food manufacturers across the country.


We are looking for Machine Minders to join the team here at Humdinger in Heckington on the day shift. You will be responsible for setting up and monitoring our machinery to ensure we can produce products efficiently.


Hourly Pay: £11.90 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm - 10am (rotate each week)

Breaks: x2 20 minute paid breaks

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the line is run to its optimal capacity, minimising changeovers & improving yields
  • Ensure that all aspects of shift/Line quality are adhered to
  • Ensure all basic mechanical defects are repaired, either through own capability or with Engineering assistance
  • Constantly look to improve the performance of the line through basic CI.
  • GHP (Good Hygiene Practice) & GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) are adhered to at all times.
  • All downtime/losses are recorded.
Qualifications:
  • Team worker
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reasonable level of Computer Literacy
  • Basic Mechanical Skills
  • Working experience within a factory would be beneficial but not essential
  • Knowledge of check weighers & X-Ray machines would be beneficial but not essential
