Monday to Friday** Source Solutions are working with a highly reputable and forward-thinking manufacturer in Portsmouth, who operate cutting edge and complex automated machinery, designed and built in-house, to identify an experienced Machine Build Technician. The Machine Build Technician will work collaboratively with a broad team of talented mechanical, electrical and software engineers, playing a key role in the development and creation of their in-house automated and robotic machines, working from detailed engineering drawings and utilising a wide range of engineering tools and machines (including milling machines, lathe, pillar drill, surface grinder etc) The company’s machines are increasingly advanced and this position will be ideal for someone with a few years’ experience of building bespoke equipment or machinery of any form within a manufacturing or production environment, who is looking for a role where they can further learn and develop their experience in a fascinating environment. Candidates should:-Possess experience of the building of automated equipment or machinery in a manufacturing / production environment from drawings
  • Be able to modify parts using hand and machine tools
  • Be able to understand and build from engineering drawings and electrical schematics
