Our client a leading Public Sector orgniastion in Gloucester is seeking a M365 Lead to join their Digital team in a newly created role. This role is responsible for the continued development and implementation of M365 technologies alongside Power Platform.

This is a great opportunity for a M365 / Cloud Engineer looking to take a step up into a internal lead role developing out the architecture of M365 or an experienced M365 SME.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the business solutions design and build of M365 solutions using the PowerPlatform to serve a variety of user needs and organization services, taking responsibility for the quality of the solution.
  • Work directly with business teams and users to identify where operational productivity needs can be met and develop prototypes, run pilots and support implementation of developed solutions to business as usual.
  • Support the CIO in the prioritisation and sequencing of the M365 technology roadmap looking to Microsoft’s roadmap to keep abreast of future changes
  • Plan and undertake the research and assessment of emerging M365 technologies for use across the wider department, including advising and influencing adoption plans and delivering proof of concepts.

What experience will you have in M365?

  • Experience of designing and delivering architectures, strategies and specific solutions within M365 and related tools and technologies
  • Experience of managing M365 licensing in an enterprise environment
  • Experience of prototyping new solutions using appropriate tools and approaches
  • Experience of applying organisation information governance written corporate policies to security and technical solutions design within M365
