We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled (M&E) Supervisor to join our prestigious high end residential contract based in Vauxhall, London (Nine Elms) maintaining the landlord areas & plant.


The Supervisor will be supervising a team of engineers providing hard service maintenance (Mechanical & Electrical) to a large residential contract responsible for the West region of Vauxhall, West Hampstead and Hayes, Middlesex (3 sites) but based from Vauxhall, the client’s flagship location.


You will ensure Technicians PPM work is undertaken in-line with agreed timelines/ SLA’s, PPM backlog is maintained at a realistic level and all Reactive Work is completed within acceptable timescales and SLA standards. Checking completed work and documentation by Technicians and ensuring compliance with current legislation whilst assisting Technicians with major fault finding using proven diagnostic skills.


You are not required to go into resident’s premises as we maintain Landlord services.


Responsibilities


You will:

  • Lead your team in provision of excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, taking corrective action when necessary across the client’s premises and escalating to the Contracts Manager.
  • Managing service provision via clearly defined contract metrics (KPI/SLA) in line with agreed contractual responsibilities.
  • Provide first line management and leadership to contract dedicated team, setting team objectives and individual performance management reviews
  • Undertake risk assessments and safety audits in line with relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey Health and Safety systems and procedures.
  • Develop relationships with customers to be able to identify additional work opportunities, escalating to the Contracts Manager as appropriate.
  • Supervision of Sub Contractor works ensuring compliance with NGB FS procurement processes.
  • Monitor completion of PPM and reactive work through utilisation of Siclops, analysis of Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and liaison with the NGB FS Service Centre.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory controls across all technical areas of expertise, NGB FS Management System by completion of internal audits and involvement in external audits to support and develop an ethos of Continuous Improvement.


Requirements


You will have:

  • Worked on various manufacturers systems, skilled in a Mechanical &/or Electrical Discipline carrying out PPM’s in line with SFG20 or equivalent, with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience.
  • Experience working as a Lead Engineer / Supervisor in a Hard Services environment
  • Ideally all candidates would have completed a Mechanical OR Electrical apprenticeship
  • Capable of Supervising Reactive Repairs and Small Projects.
  • Experienced in Statutory & Mandatory Compliance Maintenance Records / Certification and uploading onto Service Systems.
  • CHP / Biomass & Air Conditioning experience an advantage.
  • IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable)
  • Safe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable)
  • L8 Training (Desirable)
  • UK Driving License
