Experienced Luxury Travel Consultant

We are looking for a passionate, motivated & a positive individual to join our Luxury Travel Team at APT ( Australia, Pacific Touring)

As a Travel Consultant you will be expected to have a minimum of 1 years travel sales experience in a call centre to enable you to service both our Direct Clients & Travel Agent Partners with a professional and friendly manner

The role is predominantly working within an Inbound Call Centre where you will share our passion for the world of Luxury travel with our customers selling them the dream with opportunities to upsell, gain & retain loyal relationships & support the growth of our business.

Within this role a level of multitasking is expected with a high level of attention to detail to ensure we always deliver above and beyond for our customers. You will also work towards Sales & Service targets in line with our business objectives and values.

Responsibilities:

• To handle inbound calls from both direct clients & travel agents in a professional manner
• To maximize every sales opportunity to excel both revenue and conversion targets
• Booking a range of holiday types across multiple destinations for both River Cruise & Land Touring
• Aftersales administration including booking checks and action of operational reports with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times to excel business service target
• Handling high end bookings & repeat clients
• To manage the Customer Service & Sales emails by responding within the expected time frame with excellent written communication skill
• Be able to multi task between calls, emails & other operational tasks assigned to you
• Outbound Pre Departure Courtesy calls & provide updates to affected booking
• To support the Customer Service & Communication due to COVID-19 affected departures
• Work with multiple Microsoft programs especially excel with day to day workload, tasks and data entry
• Take day to day initiative and share knowledge with other team members

Skills & Qualifications Required:

· Strong sales skills

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Minimum of 1 years Travel Experience in a telephone sales environment

· Excellent written and oral communication competency

· High level administration skills to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately

· A willingness to take responsibility and to work as a part of a team

· Thorough Knowledge of Travel

· Confident with Microsoft programmes

Salary: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
All the APT UK team is working from home so you will be provided with all the equipment to be able to do this. We are in discussions around flexible working once we do reopen the office in the New Year
