The Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner/Education Mental Health Practitioner role will: Work closely alongside a team of mental health professionals delivering a wide range of evidence informed interventions, under supervision. Develop and practice evidence-based skills under supervision to carry out holistic and child-centered mental health assessments, including risk assessments. Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services and Working with and within education environments to afford better access to specialist mental health services. Supporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify and where appropriate manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.

Offering whole school approach interventions within educational settings.
