We have a fantastic opportunity for an Expo Logistics coordinator to join our Expo and Events team supporting our sports events

Your Role

The Expo Events Logistics Coordinator will support with the operational delivery which includes tasks such as coordination of shipments in and out of the events, collaborating with the client to ensure transit times are accurate. This role may involve global travel to support with onsite handling and coordination of equipment, MHE etc.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support live Events portfolio of work.
  • Client facing engagement on events schedules, pricing and operational delivery.
  • Requirement for international travel to support the events onsite operations.
  • Manage multimodal logistic requirements, including large, time sensitive sea freight bookings.
  • Onsite project management of events in location.
  • Attend client meetings as required.
  • Promote innovation and technology as improvement tools.
  • Coordinate shipments in and out of the events.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Previous experience in a Logistics / Freight Forwarding environment with multimodal experience would be advantageous;
  • Understanding of Customs rules, regulations and procedures is advantageous
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Team-player, capable of developing strong rapport with colleagues and customers.
  • Work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience in managing customers and trading relations.
  • A good level of IT literacy.
  • Account / Project management experience.
