Summary:

At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a Logistics Planner to work for a global logistics service provider. This role involves collaborating with the Supply Chain team to maintain efficiency, by fully utilising delivery vehicles, and ensuring maximum consolidation is met on each vehicle. The ideal candidate will have previous Logistics, Warehousing and Transport experience, with a proven record of analysing logistics operations, and implementing improvements and effective logistics forecasting and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Create shipments from orders provided by the Customer
Release Shipments for picking
Communicate and Co-Ordinate with Control Tower team
Build and provide regular reports and information on logistics planning
Identify opportunities and select the most appropriate remedy

Key Skills/Experience:

Logistics, warehousing and transport experience
Logistics forecasting and supply chain management
TMS/WMS and Planning system
Experience managing projects
Record of implementing administration methods, and analysing logistics operations
