Role:Logistics Manager

Location: North west

A world class nutritional food manufacturer located in the north west are looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team. As Logistics Manager, you will have a degree in a related field, at least 5 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management as well as have experience managing budgets and costings.

Main Duties
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
  • Working with procurement managers and customers on product selection
  • Planning and overseeing incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Overseeing logistics, warehouse, and transport services
  • Planning and analysing budgets and expenditures
  • Implementing industry laws and regulations and company policies
  • Settling complaints and issues regarding the supply chain
  • Sustaining customer service logs and safety records
Person Profile
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in logistics management and supply chain management
  • Skilled in logistics and inventory management software
  • Outstanding problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Service-focused to deliver a high-quality service with solutions to technical and production
