LOGISTICS MANAGER

Tims Dairy is a privately owned family company specialising in making high quality yogurt and cultured cream products for the retail, foodservice, and ingredients sectors.

Our manufacturing site in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire requires an experienced Logistics Manager to support our growth. Someone who is dynamic, enthusiastic, confident and can take initiative, who can work independently and as part of a team.

The Role

Reporting to the General Factory Manager, your prime areas of responsibility will be:

  • Manage all functions in the warehouse
  • Train, coach and support your team
  • Full stock control of finished goods
  • Ensuring that all documentation is completed correctly and timeously.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse /chilled chain environment
  • Analytical skills
  • Previous experience in a leadership position.
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Sound verbal and written communication.

Transport: Due to our semi-rural location, personal means of transport will be essential.

Salary: £40,855.58 to £45,092.00 PA depending on experience.

Location: Denham Lane, Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, SL9 0QH

Hours: Monday to Friday 40hr week with occasional overtime.
