Logistics Improvement Manager :12 months contract

In this role you will…

• Create or endorse business cases that will improve our Logistics services and processes.
• Engage across the GSK business, to understand customer needs and improvement opportunities.
• Identify and control delivery of short to medium term (3 months +) continuous improvement projects to drive service, process and cost improvement
• report benefit and program progress to key business stakeholders, notably the Customer Supply Chains
• Create, agree and deliver Service Transition Plans/Reports to affect the transfer of improvement actives from project to steady state
• Be an active member of the Pharma Logistics Improvement and Optimisation team in delivering the committed improvement targets, specifically by bringing knowledge of GSK processes and organization and guiding and influencing change
  

The role sits within the Supply Chain Logistics Improvement and Optimisation service, where we are responsible for working across the Supply Chain to deliver improved business performance focussing on a balanced portfolio of cost, service and quality improvements.

• University degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transport management, distribution or procurement
• Advanced level English skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
