Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for 2 Logistics Coordinators to work in their leading facility in Telford.

These are brand new opportunities to join a new company who have recently moved to Telford.

Initially you will be required to start on day shifts whilst training, before moving onto 4 on 4 off shifts (6:00AM - 18:00PM)

The ideal person will have experience with both Logistics & Transport Coordinating, we are looking for someone who has worked with an in house system previously and ideally someone who holds a Counterbalance forklift license.

For the successful Logistics Coordinator our client is offering:

The Role - Logistics Coordinator;

  • Liaising with the planning department
  • Liaising with external haulage businesses
  • Inputting data into the in house system
  • Send delivery notes to customers to advise them on what has been dispatched
  • Assist the customer service department with any delivery queries
  • Liaise with the Production Team to check on the progress of parts
  • Arranging documentation for goods shipping
  • Organise and plan the daily transport requirements
  • Booking in the required amount of vehicles with the Transport manager within 24 hours

What our client is looking for in a Logistics Coordinator;

  • Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
  • Previous Transport Planning experience - ESSENTIAL
  • Competent with Microsoft packages - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience working with an inhouse system (SAP, SAGE, ORACLE, PEGASUS) - ESSENTIAL
  • FLT Counterbalance License
