POSITION OVERVIEW

Based at our West Campus Facility in Westhill, the Logistics Coordinator provides Support to Subsea 7 Project Operations, Offshore Resources and internal asset owners in the provision of all domestic and international logistical support services.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively support internal customers namely Projects, Offshore Resources, Asset owners and Workshops with performance of all assigned logistics activities.
  • Manage movement of shipments to / from vessels, global worksites and third-party suppliers through communication with internal customers and external logistics providers.
  • Preparation of all export shipping documentation in line with HMRC, export control and destination specific requirements.
  • Arrange importation of material in accordance with the most appropriate HMRC regime when required.
  • Process all freight forwarding costs by creation of purchase requisitions / service entries in line with internal process requirements and Frame Agreement KPI’s.
  • Checking of monthly MSS reports and that all discrepancies are actioned if required.
  • Provide out of hours emergency cover as part of an on call rota.
  • Assist with any other duties that may be required for successful business delivery.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of local and international freight forwarding regulations including Incoterms and Customs regulations and how they apply to the business (Preferred).
  • Broadexperience and a proven track record in the management of logistics activities in the Oil & Gas industry (Subsea experience preferred).
  • Experience with SAP desirable.
  • High degree of computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluency in English.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels, pro-active and open in communication with all interfacing parties both internally and externally.
  • Ability to multitask across different SCM activities, flexible in approach and possess the ability to change priorities as and when business or client needs dictates.
  • Proactively share knowledge within and out with the SCM Department.
  • IT system and tools must always be used responsibly and in line with company policy.
  • Always present yourself in a professional manner and always show respect for others.
