An exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join a dynamic, growing team for a well-established manufacturing company in Hook with a salary of up to £30,000. This permanent logistics position is ideally suited to someone who is highly organised and who has excellent communication skills. This Logistics Controller position offers fantastic career advancements over the next few years.

This role will consist of day-to-day completion of business operational activities within SAP system to be completed within a specific time frame.

Role responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator include:

  • Generating and maintaining documentation to audit standards for import, export and inbound goods.
  • Tracking inbound shipments of finished goods and deliveries
  • Planning and scheduling outbound deliveries of finished goods with third party warehouses
  • Evaluating operational performance to recommend process improvements
  • Monitoring quality control and tracking incidents

Person Specification of the Logistics Coordinator:

  • Intermediate Word and Excel
  • Experience using SAP or similar system
  • High organised individual who is self motivated and tenacious
  • Excellent communication skills across all departments and confident in dealing with all levels of people in a professional manner
  • A desire to progress career

Salary

Up to £30k

This role will be well suited to you if you have held a role within supply chain as a logistics controller, logistics planner, logistics coordinator, import/export controller or import/export planner.
