An incredibly exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking and dynamic organisation based in Cheltenham.

The role is in a fast-paced environment so you will need proven experience in logistics/transport.

The Role:

  • Process new sales orders, amendments, customer acknowledgements on the SOP system
  • Communicate any changes, out of stock and general customer service
  • Organise the picking and transport for orders and ensuring this is done efficiently
  • Arrange transport for all orders and communicate any changes, out of stock and general customer liaison
  • Liaison with the transport, internal and external warehouse providers
  • Transport options need to be evaluated and the most suitable and cost-effective option organised.
  • Ensure that transport is appropriate and organised and deliveries are on time with the relevant paperwork to hauliers and customers on time and traceable
  • Chasing Proof of Deliveries
  • Supervising the sales administration team

Key Requirements:

  • Experience within a logistics/transport experience
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Priority management and organisation are essential
  • Diligent and great attention to detail
  • Methodical able to multi-task
  • Forward thinking and taking the initiative in situations
  • Experience of supervising a team
