If you want to have a hands-on global impact on payment solutions, we want you to join our team as a Logistics Co-ordinator. This is a full time position based in our manufacturing centre in Manchester, UK.


Primary Function:


The Logistics Co-ordinator will be primarily responsible for the creation of import and export documentation, booking transport and completing customs declarations. They will liaise with freight forwarders, logistics shipping associates and sales functions; ensuring customers’ orders are shipped within the expected time frame, whilst also resolving issues with freight forwarders and communicating changes to the business.


Responsibilities and Duties


  • Creating the relevant shipping documents such as the Customs Entry, BOL, AWB, Commercial Invoices and Packing List for Road, Air and Sea shipments through the GTA and SAP systems.
  • Interacting with the relevant freight forwarders and making bookings, resolving issues.
  • Working with the logistics shipping and customer service teams, to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and issues are communicated.
  • Supporting the preparation of the monthly Intrastat reports to HMRC
  • Managing the POD data for revenue recognition at month end

Qualifications and Required Skills


  • 3 years export clerk experience – Essential
  • GCSE Mathematics, English and Geography – A* to C grades - Desirable
  • Production or distribution dispatch/shipping environment experience – Desirable
  • Knowledge of SAP and GTA systems, preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Import/Export procedures and trade compliance
  • Ability to organize their work and focus on meeting targets
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to interface with team members and other departments
  • Good numeracy – ability to accurately prepare sales invoices and other shipping documents
