Hills Salvage & Recycling Ltd is the UK’s leading Vehicle Recycling Company, Due to the continued expansion of the business, we are looking to recruit a professional Logistics Co-Ordinator to join our team, based at our Headquarters Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

Due to continued growth, the Transport & shipping department is looking to expand its team.

The key responsibilities for an Logistics Co-Ordinator would be to:

  • Liaising with company departments to ensure items are ready for dispatch
  • Ensuring vital links to 3rd party couriers are in place
  • Ensuring items are shipped as per orders
  • Dealing with collection and Returns
  • Responsible for ensuring all vehicles are loaded correctly and safely

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Previous experience with Logistics or a basic understanding of the role.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as using their own initiative.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills showing attention to detail.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction
  • A good grounding on multiple IT systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Negotiable Dependent on Experience and Qualifications

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 10:00 – 19:00 (Flexible finish times dependant on workload)

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Skelmersdale: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
