On behalf of our client we are searching for a Logistics Assistant to work along side the Logistics Manager. You need to be enthusiastic, hands on "can do" attitude, who prides themselves on being organised with attention to detail.

Our client is a UK manufacture of storage solutions, reception and meeting room furniture. Numerous show rooms across the UK and contracts with global clients.

Excellent opportunity to gain experience within logistics or broaden previous skills that match the above. This role is fast paced and will involve working both at a desk with laptop and in the warehouse moving stock. As a Logistics Assistant you will need to be physically fit to carry out lifting within Health & Safety restrictions.

Logistics Assistant Duties:

  • Corresponding with customers and internal sales teams via email and over the phone in a professional and timely manner.
  • Co-coordinating installations for our in-house fitting team.
  • Dealing with deliveries from multiple suppliers; goods inbound and outbound
  • Organising stock and orders in the factory

Ideal candidate:

  • PC literate
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Forklift license would be advantageous

22k - 25k per annum, pension, free parking
