NHS Dumfries and Galloway offers a Broad Based Training LAT post which is available as soon as possible until 2nd August 2022. The post can offer rotations in General Medicine, Paediatrics or Psychiatry.

Broad Based Training is a nationally recognised two year training programme aimed at post-foundation trainees who wish to gather more experience of primary and secondary care prior to embarking on a training programme.

The Postgraduate Dean confirms that this placement and / or programme has the required educational and Postgraduate Dean’s approval. Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. For more information visit www.gmc-uk.org

Dumfries and Galloway is a beautiful and mostly undiscovered part of Scotland. This post would suit a doctor who enjoys walking, running, cycling, mountain biking and other outdoor activities. We are only a 90 minute drive away from the Lake District. We are close enough to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Carlisle for those who also appreciate the bright lights and city life.

Single person board accommodation will be provided. Applicants may be eligible for excess travel and relocation expenses. Information regarding nationally agreed excess travel and relocation are contained in NHS Circular PCS(DD) 2010/8.
