Main duties of the job

Are you an inspirational nurse leader with high standards? Do you want to take your career to the next level?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative Registered Nurse to join the team of Nurse Leaders within Community Nursing Services in Area West. This is a fixed term post until Dec 2023.

The post holder will play a key role in achieving and maintaining the highest standards and quality of clinical care within the District Nursing services in the Arfon and Mon localities.

The post holder will manage nursing staff and be accountable to the Area Deputy Head of Nursing for all aspects of the quality of services delivered within their area of authority.

They will maintain a visible professional presence where patients, carers and staff can turn for assistance, advice and support.

They will lead and participate in projects and areas of work, which will reflect clinical, professional and cooperate objectives.

The successful candidate will have experience in the management of community services, staffing teams, budget, responsibility and leadership.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is fixed term for 11 Months maternity cover to meet the needs of the service.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
