ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Learning & Development team as LMS Manager.

Reporting to the Performance and Development Manager, you will manage our learning management system that engages and is accessed by our 9,000 colleagues that are based in a range of divisions (Housekeeping, Leisure, Food and Beverage, Retail, Technical Services and Admin and General) across our six villages and Head Office.

You will be someone who can put themselves into the shoes of our people and design, edit and source online learning solutions that is welcoming to a diverse audience for example housekeepers, lifeguards, administrators, beauty therapists, technicians and managers.

Working with the wider Learning and Development team and a variety of internal stakeholders, you will provide our people with access to engaging legal, technical and behavioural eLearning material that ensures they are legally compliant and they are able to go above and beyond for our guests and each other.

Managing and working with a team, you will be passionate about data, producing management information to enable you to measure and evaluate our learning management system and eLearning activities; to celebrate what we do well and to help us to strive to do things better.

The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder management experience along with the ability to work with others to design job specific online eLearning solutions.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal Head Office working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however flexibility will be required.

Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and homeworking.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, ability to work with others to design job specific online eLearning solutions
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data including good Microsoft Excel skills
  • The ability to manage own workload and to prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong written skills and the ability to write material to meet the needs of the audience
  • Knowledge and experience of a Totara LMS platform
  • Experience of administering and maintaining a Learning Management System
  • Experience in designing eLearning solutions using content management software

Desirable requirements:

  • Competent user of authorising and publishing software i.e. Adobe Creative Suite or another media production tool
  • Experience of working within a retail or hospitality environment
  • CIPD Level 3 Learning and Development qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of using HTML, JavaScript and CSS in the context of both eLearning and web design
  • Experience of using the Adapt Builder content authoring tool
