Job Role:
To support the Livestock Manager in ensuring cattle arrivals are arranged for smooth flow of production with no down time, and all administration duties are completed in order to effectively run the livestock function

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4pm (40 hours per week with 1x30m break)
(Flexibility required to suit the needs of the business)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers

- Ensuring all phone calls are answered in a timely manner

- Ensuring cattle arrivals are arranged for smooth flow of production with no down time

- Carry out administration tasks to support the job function and maintain
appropriate filing of records and information

- Processing any CTS on line queries

- Processing reports and issuing cheques when required

- Holiday cover for the Livestock Manager when necessary

- Involvement with the Wagyu integrated scheme

Knowledge and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have experience with the livestock industry and will be keen to develop knowledge of livestock, and of red meat processing in order to understand the requirements of the company for the suppliers. Whilst previous livestock knowledge is desirable it is not required as full training will be given to the successful candidate.

- This Ideal candidate will have the capability to develop excellent communication skills with a range of stakeholders and be comfortable in the different environments which this role will experience.

- The candidate should be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office software.
